What does the heat itĀ® guarantee cover?
heat itĀ® products are carefully produced in accordance with our Kamedi quality guidelines and conscientiously tested before delivery. If a material or manufacturing defect occurs within the guarantee period of your heat itĀ® product, we will repair the product free of charge or replace it with a faultless product. In the event of defects, you are also entitled to the statutory rights. These legal rights are not limited by our guarantee.

In which cases is the heat itĀ® guarantee excluded?
The guarantee is not valid if the product has been wilfully damaged, improperly used or maintained. Furthermore, the warranty does not cover product parts that are subject to normal wear and tear and can therefore be considered wear parts.

Guarantee declaration
The company Kamedi GmbH, Haid-und-Neu-Str. 7, 76131 Karlsruhe, Germany, grants the consumer a limited guarantee for the products manufactured by it under the following conditions and to the extent described below. The manufacturer's warranty granted applies without prejudice to mandatory statutory liability provisions, such as the Product Liability Act. A consumer within the meaning of this manufacturer's warranty is any natural person who is the owner of the product and has not acquired it for the purpose of reselling it privately or selling it to third parties in the course of his or her commercial or independent professional activities.
Extent of guarantee
The guarantee conditions apply exclusively within the Federal Republic of Germany and the European Union. The warranty applies to all products purchased on or after 1 January 2022 (proof of purchase). Kamedi GmbH guarantees the technical functionality of its products. Claims arising from product liability exist only in accordance with the statutory provisions. Within the scope of this guarantee, defects that are demonstrably based on a material defect will be remedied.
All products are covered by a guarantee period of 24 months from the date of purchase. If the product is already defective upon delivery, this must be reported immediately upon receipt of the goods.
Products older than 24 months are in principle excluded from the guarantee. We provide this guarantee by means of free-of-charge repair of defects that are based on a material defect within the guarantee period. These defects are remedied by replacing the product with a successor model, if necessary. Kamedi GmbH reserves the right to make an alternative refund of the purchase price. The services described here are in addition to the legal warranties and do not replace or limit them. This guarantee is a voluntary and not legally binding service of Kamedi GmbH, which can be refused at any time without giving reasons.
Circumstances excluded from the guarantee
In the case of gifts and goodwill payments to the customer, the customer shall not be entitled to a guarantee. A guarantee is conditional on a purchase. The customer must have provided a service in return.Ā If heat it products are purchased from third party suppliers, there is no entitlement to a guarantee.Ā Products purchased more than 24 months ago are generally excluded from the guarantee.
Assertion of the guarantee claim
To make a claim under the guarantee, customers must complete our contact form. After receipt of the form, customers will be informed about the further processing of the claim. In the event of a guarantee claim, the product will be returned free of charge.
Enforcement in the case of a gift
In the case of gifts (customer 1 buys from us, gives it to customer 2 as a gift, customer 2 makes a complaint), a claim under the guarantee is only possible if customer 2 has all the relevant purchase data from customer 1 (e-mail, order number, name, shipping address). This information may not be changed, but should be used in the same way for the complaint.
Documentation requirement
A guarantee claim shall only exist if the customer encloses clear photos with the claim. Unambiguity in this context means the clear recognisability of the heat it product as well as the defect underlying the claim.
Note on the guarantee promise Ā§ 477 BGB (German Civil Code)
Completely independent of this manufacturer's guarantee and regardless of whether or not the prescribed guarantee is claimed in the guarantee case, the consumer's statutory warranty claims against the respective seller exist without restriction. Therefore, at the consumer's own free choice, the legally regulated buyer's rights due to defects of the purchased item, in particular subsequent performance, withdrawal, reduction of the purchase price or damages (see Ā§ 437 BGB) and the corresponding separate limitation rules in Ā§ 438 BGB can be asserted against the seller even without asserting the guarantee claims. The guarantee applies without prejudice to mandatory statutory liability provisions.
Responsibility
The guarantee declaration does not grant any entitlement to compensation for consequential damage of any kind or other claims for damages. Excluded from this restriction are mandatory legal provisions according to which the manufacturer is liable outside of this voluntary guarantee declaration.
Limitation period
Claims under the guarantee must be asserted immediately, but no later than 2 months after becoming aware of a defect. After expiry of this period, the assertion of rights under the guarantee is excluded.
